UNBOXING! Love From Lizi • March 2021 Card Kit

Hello Folks! Scott here with the unboxing of the Love From Lizi March 2021 card kit! Lizi has titled this kit the “Make it Bloom” kit and spring is definitely in the air.- as well as some Easter motifs and a bright spring-y palette!

We get a big 12″ x 12″ kit this month which usually indicates we get some over-size cut apart and larger goodies!

As usual, we get five sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stock in our kit – I most always make my card bases from these – I can’t tell you how often the color of a card base has inspired a card from me! This month we get a Lilac, Buttercup Yellow, super-smooth alcohol-friendly White (I’ll swap this out for a plain sheet of 110# card stock from my stash), Warm Yellow, and Zesty Lime Green. Very spring-y!

And here’s the 12″ x 12″ cut apart sheet! 15 spring-time tags! Nine with sentiments or sayings and six with patterns and icons.

The back of the cut apart sheet continues the tag theme providing reverse decorations on all the tags cut from the front!

AND a 12″ x 12″ sheet of stickers! These are nice, thick stickers with a satin finish, and tons of images and sentiments!

We get a pack of twelve double-sided 6″ x 8″ pattern papers in our kit too! Some florals, large icons and sentiments, as well as smaller patterns and a couple of 3″ x 4″ cut apart sheets for good measure!

The reverse sides of our pattern paper tend to smaller patterns perfect for backgrounds… love that pastel plaid!

Our peel off sheet this month is a Glossy Pink with Silver outlines – I really like the metallic outlines on these opaque peel offs! The Make It Bloom Stamp set features 6 Easter eggs with some intricate patterning, good for embossing as well as coloring! There are 5 sentiments (one shaped like an egg!) and 11 tiny stamps of hearts, flowers and leaves.

That brings us to our embellishment bag! We get five 1/8″ satin ribbons in soft Lilac, soft Yellow, White, baby Pink, and soft Blue. A meter each! The Make It Bloom Sequin mix has Lime Green, Pink, Blue, and White sequins with some iridescent hearts too!. We get these five wood-veneer die-cuts that include this cute “Hello” and five pre-tied white bows (for those of us who are bow-tying challenged!). Our pack of dies include a nice sized “Happy Easter”, a chick and a bunny, a large and small flower, and a large and small egg. The smaller dies have some great internal shapes as well!

And, of course we get a nice pack of ephemera this month. A little more tag and sentiment oriented than images but these are all bright and colorful and as eager for spring as I am!

I did get the Make It Bloom Pin Stripe bundle! This includes four pin stipe peel off sheets in Apricot, Mint, Lemon Glitter, and Mauve Moondust. Perfect addition to this kit!

And I was thrilled to receive the Make It Bloom Pearlescent card stock bundle including six 8.5″ x 11″ super-shiny card stock sheets in White, Taupe, Sunshine Yellow, Orange, Slate Blue, and Pistachio.

That covers everything in the Love From Lizi March 2021 Card Kit and the couple extras I received. This kit is still available at Love From Lizi, as is most of the add-ons and March releases, so if your need a little spring in your step, you’ll want to grab one of these for yourself!
