Hello Folks! Scott here with the Love From Lizi NEW February 2021 Card Kit! This is Lizi’s “So Lucky” kit and it features lots of St Patrick’s Day themed elements. A little touch o’ the Irish for us all!
This is yet another giant selection of kit supplies in a not-so-regular color palette with lots of greens and yellows and oranges, as well as unique stamps and embellishments!
Our five sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stock included in the kit include one Super Smooth White (alcohol marker-friendly), a Soft Grey, Vibrant Green, Zesty Orange and Black. I often set aside the White for alcohol marker coloring and substitute a plain White from my stash – but I do generally make 10 card bases from these five sheets of card stock.
The So Lucky pattern paper pack includes 22 6″ x 6″ sheets in the green/gold/orange palette with all sorts of shamrocks, patterns and faux glitter effects. Lots of great plaids, stripes and some floral round out this terrific pack of patterned card stock.
The new peel off color in this kit is this sheet of Copper Mirror Pin Stripe peel offs with Gold trim. Copper and Gold! The So Lucky stamp set on the right, features a number of unique images (how about that “looking down at your feet” stamp!) and a large “So Lucky” sentiment with lots of small sentiment builders; “Sometimes I wonder how we got” , “our lives crossed paths”, “that good coffee and you exist”, and others that embellish the “So Lucky” stamp. AND we get matching dies again! Looks like they will die-cut all the images, as well as the “So Lucky” sentiment WITH a shadow die! That gives us lots of options with that nice large sentiment!
That brings us to our embellishment bag and our pack of 5 ribbons (1 meter each) in green, orange, yellow, dark green and black. There is a pack of 15 wood veneer shamrocks in three different sizes with etching on one side and nothing on the other, and we get another pack of enamel glitter dots that match most of the ribbon pack as well. We get our sample pack of the “So Lucky” sequin mix with browns, golds, whites, green, cream and orange sequins in assorted sizes. We also get a full roll of washi tape this month – a nice green gingham with small bouquets. AND… saving the best for last…
A great big pack of EPHEMERA! This includes two pieces of the “looking down at your feet” image from the stamp set, and eight delightful gal pairs making a heart with their outstretched hands – all with different hair combinations! We get some shamrock wreaths in different sizes, a couple hands, some coffees, florals, cookies, and more shamrocks! Plenty of images to make all sorts of lucky cards!
I did get the add-on peel off packs to go along with this kit this month.
The “So Lucky” Pin Stripe Peel off pack has four pin stripe sheets in Gold Glitter, Green Glitter, Gold Holographic and Green Holographic. The “So Lucky” Variety Peel off pack includes a sheet of Gold moondust mini-Hearts, Sway Apricot, Straight Jade Green Glitter, and a sheet of Rose Gold Mirror Pin stripe peel offs. All perfectly coordinated!
That wraps up the Love From Lizi February 2021 Card Kit, and the add-ons I received. I don’t think I have run across many St Patrick’s Day themed card kits, so this LFL kit seems to be quite unique!
