Hello Folks! Scott here with the NEW Love From Lizi January 2021 Card Kit!
This is Lizi’s “Fresh Start” Card kit – a perfect way to welcome in the new year! This kit is a bounty of beautiful roses with copious amounts of fun and unique materials to play with!
We get the usual 5 sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stock in Mint, Soft Grey, Super-smooth alcohol marker-friendly White, Bright Pink, and Cream. We are also treated to a sheet of printed vellum with this soft, lovely rose pattern in a vintage style layout.
Our “Fresh Start” pattern paper pad sports 16 sheets of 6″ x 6″ single-sided pages – very thick and sturdy card stock here. We have an assortment of florals and floral patterns, a few cut-apart sheets, and some small dotted patterns perfect for backgrounds. NOTE: The cover sheet for this pack of paper says there are 24 sheets but there are only 16 – rest assured that you are not missing any sheets!
We get a NEW color of pin-stripe peel offs this month – Mink Mirror with a silver lining. ALMOST pink! LOL!! The “Fresh Start” stamp set features two blooms and a small arrangement, along with a couple of leafy branches and 5 mini stamps (2 blooms 3 leaves). There are also four sentiment stamps: “Good Luck”, “Miss You”, “Fresh Start”, and “Happy Birthday”. I’m always thrilled to get a new Lizi stencil and this month we get a 6″ x 6″ “Poker” stencil with a terrific dot pattern. The mini stamps are supposed to fit inside the dots on this stencil… many intriguing possibilities there…!!
We also get a big pack of ephemera!! More than 40 pieces of sturdy card stock with all the roses and florals you could ask for! I see lots of layering in our future…!!!
That brings us to the rest of the embellishments! Counter-clockwise from top right: MATCHING DIES!! YAAAAY!!! We get dies for the three bloom stamps, and three nesting circle dies (I believe the middle one fits the Poker stencil dots) and a banner die sized to fit the sentiments in the stamp set. Love my matching dies!! We get a new sheet of Enamel Glitter dots matched to the ribbon pack with light and dark green and a nice cheery red in 3/8″ satin – a meter length for all five colors!
Our sample “Fresh Start” sequin mix has mint, pink, vanilla, gold and see through petrol sequins in assorted sizes. And last but not least… “Fresh Start” Vellum alphabet tiles! Aren’t those fascinating!? There are 93 tiles of vellum with the entire alphabet (and a number of ampersands) printed on them and embellished with floral accents. These measure 3″ x 4″ and are printed with extra clarity and opacity. These should prove to be perfect stash builders for us alphabet or monogram collectors!
I did receive the add-on peel off bundles this month. The Variety peel off bundle has Clear iridescent glitter Straight, Gold mirror Circles, Pink iridescent Hearts, and Mauve mirror pin-stripe sheets. The pin-stipe bundle is full of greens – Jade, Grass, Mint moondust, and Spearmint. Gotta love those peel offs!
Lizi is releasing a lot of the components of this kit separately as well, in case you’d like to stock up on the pattern papers or alphabet tiles, etc. Subscribers can add extra product to their kit orders through early morning January 4th without incurring extra shipping charges.
