Hello Folks! Scott here unboxing the NEW Love From Lizi July 2021 Card Kit! Summer Botany is the theme this month and this kit is chock-a-block full of lovely florals and botanically oriented labeling. Looks like Fun!
Our kits come in a large 12″ x12″ box this month which usually means we’re getting some cut apart sheets and stickers!
We begin with our card stock. 5 sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stock in Super Smooth (alcohol-friendly) White, Black, Warm Yellow, Teal, and Cherry (Merlot) Red. We are treated to some bona-fide specialty card stock this month as well! Two half-sheets in Green Glitter and a Linen Embossed Gold. I always love getting some specialty card stock in our kits!
Here comes our 12″ x12″ double-sided cut apart sheets! 2″x2″ blocks on the front of this one with lots of small images and simple sentiments, and the back sports a flower and butterfly pattern on a pink background. Very summer-y!
Our second sheet features 4″ x 4″ blocks with more florals butterflies and sentiments and the reverse has this kaleidoscope of butterflies. SO many butterflies, it’s almost a plague!
And our last cut apart sheet has 3″ x 4″ blocks (perfect for a card all on their own) and a more subtle pattern on the back.
Here we have our sticker sheet! These are nice, thick stickers with some truly lovely images and assorted sizes of sentiments and words. I really like all the ticket stickers too!
We are treated to 12 sheets of 6″ x 8″ double-sided pattern papers in our kit this month. One side features larger, almost full size sentiments and layouts, while the back sides are more subtle and simple patterns, There’s also two sheets with more 3″ x 4″ cut apart blocks – in case you didn’t get enough with the 12″ x 12″ cut apart sheets!
The Summer Botany stamp set features a wide variety of text stamps along with some florals and scientific labels. Lizy kept referencing multi-media in her unboxing, and there are a few stamps here that give a jump-start to some multi-media crafting. Our peel offs this month are Mink Mini Circles – a nice alternative to Pin Stripe peel offs!
That brings up to our Embellishment bag! To begin with we get this lovely 10″ piece of lace – more multi-media! The Summer Botany sequin mix has Red, Gold, Pink, Peach and Oyster sequins in assorted sizes. We get three paper flowers that are quite sturdy with little pearl centers, and a meter long piece of butterfly print canvas ribbon and four different twines with some twisted gold in two of them. There’s a large set of dies this month with a detailed Dragonfly, Flower and a BIG Butterfly along with silhouette dies of the same, and a leaf and small circle to round out the set.
And we get about 50 ephemera pieces! Some lovely, large florals, sentiment medallions, butterflies, hearts, banners, and even some more ticket icons. A great big pack of ephemera to include with this whole multi-media kit!!
I did get the Add-on peel off bundles! The Pin Stripe bundle includes Mink, Back, Gold Moondust and Teal, and the Variety Bundle has Racing Green Mini Circles, Lemon Glitter Straight, Red Mini Hearts and a Sky Blue Sway. Peel offs should come in handy when creating some multi-media cards!
This month I also got the Summer Botany Pearlescent card stock bundle. Six sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stock in Warm Gold, Platinum, Ivory, Black, Chocolate and Cherry Red. LOVE that red!!
I think I’ll really make an effort to do some multi-media cards with this kit! Push my comfort zone a little bit and see what I can come up with! This kit is currently available at Love From Lizi.
