Hello Folks! Scott here unboxing the new Love From Lizi November 2020 Card Kit!
Due to supplier delay, this kit is getting released about 2.5 weeks late – usually Lizi reveals the new kit on the 19th of the month prior, but due to circumstances beyond her control this Warm Winter Wishes Card Kit was not released until Friday, November 6th. Subscribers have through Wednesday, November 12th to add products to their kits for no added shipping – we have to move fast this month, some extras are already sold out!
We are treated to seven sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stocks in this kit! We have a Soft Pink, 2 sheets of alcohol marker-friendly White, Soft Gray, Mint Green, Marine Blue, and Navy.
Tha Warm Winter Wishes pattern paper pack includes 16 sheets of 6″ x 6″ single-sided patter papers. Nice thick card stock featuring all sorts of winter animals from penguins to polar bears, arctic foxes to walruses, bunnies, owls, igloos and deer. All on this soft palette of blues, mints, pale pinks and navy backgrounds. There are also a couple of floral and tree patterns and some simple stripes, dots and other background patterns.
Our Peel offs this month is a new pin-stripe version of the favorite clear iridescent peel offs – this time lined with silver. Thats a new color to our outline peel offs! The Warm Winter Wishes stamp set includes a sweet Arctic Fox, a stately reindeer, a couple of penguins, a few small trees, and four sentiments: “Warm Wishes”, “Merry Christmas”, “Baby it’s cold outside”, and “Season’s Greetings”. Not strictly holiday themed, but this stamp set should good all winter long!
And here’s our pack of ephemera all laid out for your perusal. All of these die-cuts are images repeated from the pattern papers with different accessories and in different sizes. Lots of our animal friends as well as a number of florals and even a few igloos!
That takes us to our embellishment pack which includes 5 satin ribbons in Green, Blue, Pink, White and Mint, nine wood-veneer die-cut trees featuring detailed etchings on one side and some with decorative cut-outs. We also get a new pack of Glitter Enamel dots that match the ribbons perfectly! Our Warm Winter Wishes Sequin mix has an assortment of Navy, Soft Mint, Oyster, Pale Blue, and Graphite sequins in assorted sizes. Our out-of-the-ordinary embellishment this month are three 4.25″ x 5.5″ clear acetate sheets with a printed border of snow – perfect for making full-sized shaker cards or any sweet wintery scene! Finally we have 4 dies in the kit – three sentiments: “Merry Christmas”, “Winter Wishes”, and “Christmas Wishes” along with a pair of polar bears in the snow under a heart shaped wreath. That’s everything in the Love From Lizi November 2020 “Warm Winter Wishes” Card Kit. I’m looking forward to playing with all the supplies in this unique wintry kit!
I did receive the two add-on Peel off packs this month! On the left we have the Warm Winter Wishes Variety Peel off pack with Moondust Pin-stripe, Sky Blue Sway, Brown Mirror Straight, and White Mini Circles. Remember you can color any White peel off with alcohol markers or any permanent markers. Great to have in your stash! The Warm Winter Pin-Stipe Peel off Pack includes Pink, Blue Mirror, Clear Iridescent, and Black.
There are ALSO bunches of holiday themed Mega-Packs and Special Edition kits along with Speciality Card Stock packs released this month. Since this kit is coming to us so late, and due to uncertainties with the current pandemic, Lizi has decided to skip the December kit this year. All the more reason to stock up on some Mega-Packs and Limited Edition Kits right now.
