Hello Folks! Scott here with the new Love From Lizi June 2020 Card Kit! Due to some supplier delays, this release is about 9 days late, but just in time for us to take a look and join in on the fun before Lizi starts shipping June 2nd!
This is another EXCLUSIVE Love From Lizi kit featuring her beloved Eyelash Girls and simply chock full of supplies to help us wile away the hours during these crazy times!
Our five sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ card stocks include this lovely Deep Purple, Jade Green, Navy Blue, Pink (naturally..!) and a sheet of super smooth alcohol marker-friendly White.
We also get two 8.5″ x 11″ specialty card stock which include a sheet of acetate with the pink, blue, and yellow swipes and a sheet of vellum with bouquets of flowers on a striped background. Note that both of those are on top of a sheet of white paper so they would photograph well. And we get a big sheet of decoupage featuring the Eyelash Girls! This features three scenes with four layers each. Usually Lizi’s decoupage sheets are die-cut but this set is not! Time to break out our fussy cutting scissors and craft knives!
Then we are treated to 14 sheets of 6″ x 6″ pattern papers in a great assortment of colors again starring the Eyelash Girls. These are 200GSM heavyweight card stock single-sided sheets with an assortment of icons big and small. and a good smattering of pink!
That brings us to our peel offs and stamp set with matching dies! Fuchsia Pink Straight peel offs compliment this kit perfectly and are a new color in the “Straight” peel off family! The Safe and Sound Stamp Set has two large stamps with one Eyelash Girl peering out of a window with her cat, and another lounging on a big pillow while reading a book. A smaller cat, cup, and heart round out the icons, and there are five sentiments in this set as well. “Stay safe and sound”, “Cozy living”, “Enjoy the Quiet”, “Missing you”, and “Enjoy your you time”. AND matching dies that will die-cut all of the images in this stamp set! I can’t wait to do some coloring with these stamps!
For those of us who LOVE ephemera, Lizi has given us a bunch of colorful pieces that are so big they wouldn’t fit in the embellishment bag!
In fact, I couldn’t fit them all in one photo! WOW! At first glance, there may appear to be duplicates, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that the hair colors are different, or the skin colors are different, or the composition is different. A great variety of ephemera pieces here – maybe you can match the Eyelash Girls to your card recipients!
I told you there were a lot! Here we have four different flower bunches in three sizes each, and more accoutrements to embellish many, many cards! More than 60 pieces!
And finally we get to open the embellishment bag itself! There’s a sheet of glitter enamel dots in five colors and three different sizes. A new bottle of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Double Denim, a full meter length of five 3/8″ satin ribbons in pink, purple, sky blue, green, and yellow, a sample pack of the Safe and Sound sequin mix, and four sentiment dies WITH matching shadow dies! There’s “Love & miss you”, “Love you”, “Stay Safe”, and “miss you”. Last, but NOT least we get this pack of sticky notes for the inside of your cards. On the bottom of each note is printed “I made you this card with love and hope you enjoy it. My greeting is on this sticky note so you can peel it off and reuse the card to brighten someone else’s day.” LOVE THAT! Certainly a great idea to help spread the love around!
I did manage to snag a few add-ons this month, including TWO peel off bundles!
The Safe and Sound peel off pack has a sheet of Straight Pink Holographic, Straight Ice Blue, Sway Silver Glitter and Pin stripe Brown mirror peel offs. The Safe and Sound Pin stripe peel off pack has Fuchsia Pink, Mauve Moondust, Purple and Lilac Mirror peel offs. An Lizi has an add-on “Can’t wait to see you” stamp set with two more Eyelash Girls isolating at home. There is the one reading with her cat in a big overstuffed chair, and one stretching it out on her sofa! There’s also a couple of books, and a lamp and three more sentiments – the fun “LOVE” sentiment with a donut for the “o”, “Can’t wait to see you”, and “Sending love from my home to yours”. If you like Lizi’s Eyelash Girls you will want to add this stamp set to your stash!
